Typically, HAIM performs more lively rock inspired music during their live performances. These songs are the ones that are designed to pump up the crowd and to get audiences to hit the dance floor more than the slower songs that appear on their albums. A huge part of this comes to how HAIM can command a crowd and are excellent at rousing their fans to get up and get moving during their live shows. It’s not uncommon to see fans littering the aisles or jumping up and down as they cheer and sing along with the band.

But when the band does play slower work, the sisters’ skills with instrumentation along with their captivating voices make for an experience that is haunting and unforgettable. Whether the song is about breakups, moving on, new found love, or any other relatable event and emotion, there’s always a sense of staying strong no matter what that’s a part of their work.
